You received a Coverage Type Begin Date error for one of the following reasons:
- The Coverage Type Begin Date is missing. Coverage Type Begin Date is required. To correct this error, enter the appropriate Coverage Type Begin Date and resubmit your data.
- The Coverage Type Begin Date is in an invalid format. The Coverage Type Begin Date must be formatted in the following manner: mm/dd/yyyy. Note that a 4-digit year is required. To correct this error, reformat the date and resubmit your data.
- The Coverage Type Begin Date listed is in the future. The employee’s Coverage Type Begin Date must occur prior to or during the current reporting year, or it should not be included in this year’s reports. To correct this error, make sure the Coverage Type Begin Date is not after the current reporting year and resubmit your data. If an employee is not eligible until the following year, you can either remove from the file or use coverage type LNAP for current reporting year.
