You received a Dependent SSN Data error because you are missing the Social Security number for a dependent. You should contact the employee to provide the missing SSN for their dependent, and then resubmit your data.
If you are unable to obtain the dependent’s SSN after making a good-faith effort, you can instead provide the dependent’s Date of Birth.
In this case, the Date of Birth should be entered in the Dependent DOB field, and the Dependent SSN field should be left blank.
