There’s no way to guarantee employees won’t move between the time you approve your Employee Census Report and when their 1095-C forms are mailed. In order to minimize the risk of an employee not receiving their form on-time, we’ve worked with our shipping partner to verify each address before your forms get mailed.

Once you approve your 1095-C forms and click the Send to Printer button:

  • Your 1095-C forms are sent for printing.
  • Once printed, each employee address is run through a pre-sorting service to check for recent address changes filed with the USPS. If a change of address is detected, the 1095-C form will remain unchanged, but it will be mailed to the new address.
  • If the pre-sort service detects an address change but there’s no new address on file, or if an address has been flagged for any reason, the employee’s form will be turned over for manual processing and mailed via First Class full-rate postage.
  • If USPS is unable to deliver a First Class mailing, those forms will be returned to the company address on file with ACA Track for that employee.

Foreign mailings will be handled in a similar way, using 1st Class Foreign Rates for any mail that is rejected by our automated system.
